Occasionally we look at a floor and tell a homeowner that a coating isn't the right investment yet — heavy structural movement, severe delamination, or persistent moisture intrusion are all reasons to solve the underlying issue first. We'd rather say that at the estimate than after installation.

Usually yes. We assess whether the crack is static or moving, repair it accordingly, and select a flake blend that keeps the repair from standing out. Severe structural movement is the exception and we'll tell you if that's what we see.
